Europe’s largest outdoor event, “The National Ploughing Championships” returns to Ratheniska, Co Laois from September 19th to 21st 2023. There were more than 275,000 visitors in attendance in 2022 and, if the weather holds, a similar large crowd is expected this year. RTE will be at “The Ploughing” and will feature live radio broadcasts across RTÉ

The Horizon Irish Open takes place at the K Club this week with a prize fund of €6 million at stake. There are several players in the top 50 of the world rankings competing at the event but all eyes will be on the 2016 winner Rory McIlroy as he makes his return to the
