The Horizon Irish Open takes place at the K Club this week with a prize fund of €6 million at stake. There are several players in the top 50 of the world rankings competing at the event but all eyes will be on the 2016 winner Rory McIlroy as he makes his return to the event having missed last year. Mark Power makes his professional debut at the Open and what a venue for that milestone in his career. With a course that has “multiple risk-reward shot-making opportunities” it is going to be an exciting competition.
The weather forecast for the week is dry and warm with lots of sunshine. There will be lots of thirsty spectators at the venue and what could be better in the sunshine than a cold, thirst quenching pint of your favourite beer.
The BTI Rental and Events team have been on site installing the bottle coolers, coldrooms, beer cooling systems and the dispense equipment to ensure great quality draught beer when and where it’s needed through the venue.
