Electric Picnic & AC/DC August 2024

After nearly 10 years, AC/DC are back to perform in Croke Park on Saturday as part of their European Power Up tour. With it being the last gig on the tour, the fans are in for a real treat as the rockers celebrate 50 years together. There’s also that great arts and music festival this weekend in Stradbally in Co. Laois. The now famous Electric Picnic takes place from 16^th to 18^th August with Kylie the headline gig.

The BTI Rentals and Events team have spent the last couple of weeks working at both sites installing the draught beer coldrooms, cooling systems and the additional bars.

The atmosphere in both locations will be electric with 1000’s of watts of power in the amps and the great lighting rigs. The electrical power required to ensure the liquid refreshments are served cold throughout the gigs is nothing in comparison.

I can hear it now…”Thunderstruck”…or is it…..”Can’t Get You Out Of My Head”……..
