Slane Castle has become one of the most celebrated outdoor concert venues in the country since the inaugural performance from Thin Lizzy on 1981. On Saturday 10th June, live music returned to the venue for the first time since the Covid 19 pandemic. Harry Styles, described as one of the biggest performers on the planet, played in front of 80,000 fans in the continuation of his Love on Tour shows.
Work started weeks in advance to prepare the venue for the sold-out gig. While the stage was being built, the BTI Rentals teams were on site building the bars that would be used to provide the liquid refreshments to the thirsty revellers. Several coldrooms were fitted out and the dispense equipment installed to serve the cold beer. Bottle coolers and fridges were provided for the packaged products and soft drinks.
Always great satisfaction for the BTI team when the beer is pouring. Spare a thought for the BTI Rentals team who also have to dismantle and remove the equipment and get it back to base and prepared for the next event.
