The stage was set for a tense derby match on Saturday in the Aviva with Leinster the favourites to win the URC semi-final. However, Jack Crowley scored a drop goal 2 minutes from the end to put Munster ahead and win by a single point (Leinster 15 – Munster 16). It will be Stormers V Munster in the final on Saturday 27th May in Capetown, South Africa. Munster were the only team to beat Stormers at home in the pool stages so now doubt confidence in the Munster camp will be high.
Leinster still have the final of the Heineken Champions Cup on 20th May to look forward to and we are in for a great game with Ronan O’Gara’s La Rochelle team the defending champions from 2022.The match is sold out so there will be over 50,000 fans in need of refreshment over the course of the afternoon. The BTI Events team are working hard on site to ensure great draught beer available throughout the stadium and that the title sponsors, Heineken, also looks well across the different areas.
We wish the Leinster team the best of luck and look forward to a great game on 20th May .
We also wish the Munster team the best of luck when they take on Stormers in Capetown on 27th May.
